This is the End (2015)

It starts with a blinding flash of light followed by a wave of destruction that obliterates everything in its path. It’s World War 3 and nuclear bombs are the ultimate weapon of mass destruction. But would an all-out nuclear war bring mankind to the edge of extinction? Perhaps, but there is a slower moving killer that may be an even greater threat.

According to a recent study 400,000 people are dying each year because of Earth’s rapidly changing climate. By 2030, that number is expected to double. With 7 billion people on the planet, will disappearing land and increased stress on natural resources cause the human race to collapse under its own weight?

Between Russia invading its neighbors and almost daily scientific warnings about global warming, Climate Change and World War 3 are arguably the two most pressing issues facing mankind. Now for the first time, these two doomsday scenarios will go head-to-head to determine which cataclysmic event poses the greatest threat to the human race. How will it begin? Can we survive? Or is this The End?
